The minecraft mutant mobs mod adds a whole lot of mutated creatures for you to do battle with. Each of the mutants has super powers, additional abilities and the general ability to turn your game upside down with wicked vicious mechanics like have never seen before. If you thought original Endermen were bad, try the mutant Enderman with a hundred hearts. That’s right. A hundred hearts. Killing him is a week long event.
Mutant skeletons are also no joke. They only have 75 hearts, but they can shoot arrows through solid matter, so that’s a problem, and they can smack you into next week too. So, you know, be careful.
And then there’s the mutant zombie. The mutant zombie can perform a melee attack which will take you down a peg or two. Actually, it will take you down twelve hearts. And that’s just the beginning of the beginning of the beginning…

Tired of placing every tree in Cities Skylines by hand? Wondering if this game is actually a terrible gardening simulator? Wonder no longer. You can now download a mod which allows you to plant hundreds of trees with a single stroke of a brush. The brush size is fully adjustable, allowing you to plant a thin windbreak of trees, or create a vast forest whilst remaining in game!

Bulldozing buildings is tedious in Vanilla Cities Skylines. You have to individually click on each and every single building you want to destroy, how tedious is that? How can one be expected to get any real destruction done when what you really need is to be able to click and drag an area all of which is immediately annihilated!

One of the more frustrating Skyrim mechanics is the fact that arrows have to be either found in dungeons or bought from vendors, who usually have pitifully small amounts in their inventory. With the Arrowsmith Skyrim Mod, you can actually craft your own arrows at forges, using firewood, chicken feathers and ingots of the requisite material. Glass arrows, for instance, can be crafted with Refined Moonstone and Refined Malachite. One ingot of each, plus fletchings and two pieces of firewood will provide you with fifty arrows.
There’s nothing more frustrating than having crafted an Epic Glass Bow, but skulking around using iron or Ancient Nord arrows which do pathetic amounts of damage. Really, Arrowsmith is a mod that should have been included in the base game. It has quickly become one of my favorite Skyrim mods because it means I can gear up properly before heading out into the more challenging dungeons.
The Arrowsmith mod comes in Dawnguard and Vanilla editions
Check out Arrowsmith on Nexus, also available through the Steam Workshop.
The creator of the mod has also provided directions on how to make your very own fletching recipes over here.

This simple Dark Souls Mod replaces the ‘You Died’ text with a more politically contemporary message: THANKS OBAMA. It should probably be THANKS, OBAMA, if it were to be gramatically correct, but I think I speak for everyone when I say ain’t nobody got time for that.

Dishonored is one of the few Bethesda games that doesn’t come with a handy TGM command allowing you to become god inside the game. Personally I’m glad for that because Dishonored is one of the very, very few games I don’t actually want to ruin by being able to just walk up to everyone and poke them in the eye until they cry. But if that sounds like fun to you, then you’ll enjoy the pants out of this Dishonored God that makes you more powerful than the Outsider himself. (more…)

Minecraft starts to get too easy after a while, doesn’t it? If you’re looking for a proper challenge, download and install You Will Die, a Roguelike mod which adds a bunch of danger to the game, as well as actual goals and disadvantages. This mod creates a much greater level of challenge by hamstringing the player in some ways, whilst providing the occasional high stat weapon and useful potion along the way. It’s like carrot and stick, except its mostly sticks.
The Minecraft Roguelike mod also includes new crafting recipes for traps, including a spike trap, a flame trap, and a smoke trap. You will fall into these with delightful regularity, but you can also craft them to fall into later when you’ve forgotten about them.
What’s The Advantage of Disadvantages?
Elementary, my dear elementalist. Having disadvantages, like say, a 50% increase in creeper spawn rates in a world makes life more interesting. It also makes meeting the challenge condition a great deal more challenging. You thought finding a baker’s dozen of diamonds was easy? Hah! Try it when every dark nook and cranny is home to a spawning plenthora of creepers.

Want one of those Google Maps style maps for your minecraft world? You’ve come to the right place. Dynmap creates an online minecraft map of your world, searchable and viewable by anyone who has access to it. This brilliant minecraft map mod allows for real time updating as long as you have the browser window open whilst you are playing your map. It even maps player locations as the game is played (not so useful if you’re trying to hide from a well-geared PvPer.)
